The Danish ice hockey talent, Isaac (18), plays in the Swedish Elite Series, but both on and off the field, Isaac struggles to handle his own expectations, nerves, and the pressure from his African-American father and agent, Joe, who paces Isaac to the maximum to achieve their shared dream of the NHL.
Isaac is the league's only African-American player, and during a playoff match, Isaac starts a fight with an opponent, following a racist remark. Unfairly, Isaac's club fires him for violence, and full of anger, he returns home to Denmark, where he is reunited with his childhood friend, the pusher Marco. In the longing for recognition and support, Isaac now becomes part of a criminal environment with parties and drugs, and when he is offered to smuggle drugs between Denmark and Sweden, he is tempted.
At the same time, Isaac is signed by a new club from Malmö - and with one leg in two worlds, Isaac begins a life-threatening double life that divides father and son, which ends up with fatal consequences for Isaac.

(3rd Unit Director and Creative Assistant to Director Nicolai Fuglsig)
12 Strong tells the story of the first Special Forces team deployed to Afghanistan after 9/11; under the leadership of a new captain, the team must work with an Afghan warlord to take down the Taliban.
I worked as Nicolai Fuglsig's Creative Assistant on the war movie "12 Strong" produced by Jerry Bruckheimer (Black Hawk Down, Pirates of the Caribbean, Top Gun, etc.) and Black Label Media (Sicario) starring Chris Hemsworth and Michael Shannon. It was shot by Rasmus Videbæk (A Royal Affair, The Dark Tower).
On the movie, I worked closely with Nicolai and Rasmus through the pre-production and production, and I sat with Nicolai all the way through the edit.
During production, I was given the 3rd Unit to direct.
